About Sophie
Sophie Bolton is an Embodiment Facilitator, Conscious Dance DJ and Coming Home Coach who helps people reconnect with themselves during times of transition, anxiety, overwhelm and personal growth.
For over 15 years she has been holding transformative spaces where movement, nervous system awareness and self-discovery meet. Through conscious dance, yoga, embodiment practices and one-to-one coaching, Sophie supports people to slow down, regulate their nervous systems, and build trust in who they are.
Her work is deeply informed by lived experience. As a Highly Sensitive Person, Sophie has spent much of her life learning how to navigate anxiety, emotional intensity and major life transitions. Rather than seeing sensitivity as a weakness, she now views it as a strength — one that has shaped her ability to listen deeply, attune to others and create spaces where people feel safe to be themselves.
Sophie began practising yoga in 1999 and qualified as a yoga teacher in 2009, teaching both adults and children with a wide range of needs. In 2014 she trained in the United States as a Dancing Freedom Embodiment Facilitator with Samantha Sweetwater, blending movement, emotional awareness, nervous system regulation and conscious dance.
Alongside her work as a DJ and facilitator, Sophie has spent the last several years supporting people one-to-one through periods of anxiety, heartbreak, life transition, confidence challenges and personal growth. Much of this work has grown organically through word-of-mouth referrals and long-standing relationships built through her community work.
Her approach draws from embodiment, nervous system regulation, EFT tapping, mindfulness, Polyvagal-informed practices, yoga therapy and deep listening. However, what matters most to Sophie is not the technique itself, but helping people feel safe enough to hear themselves again.
Whether on a dance floor, around a fire, in nature or in a private coaching session, Sophie's intention remains the same:
To help people come home to themselves.
